Danny Wood

I have lived in Urpeth Parish since 2018. In addition to my role as a parish councillor, I served two terms as a County Councillor from 2017 to 2025. I believe that as the most local tier of Government, Parish Councils have a vital role to play in improving local communities. They are often able to go above and beyond what local authorities can do to make our villages the very best places to live.

I am also a parish councillor for Pelton and Ouston and my big priority for the local area is working to improve road safety.
